supergrumpers asked:

I’d like to get into working at home with my computer, but I know 99% of these programs are scams. I’m not paying a cent to anyone to start working.

Does anyone know how I can work from home without sending money in to some scam company?

Work from home opportunities may seem like a dream for many that is unreachable, but this is not true. There are thousands of companies who need people just like you who are looking for work from home opportunities. There are some things that you should keep in mind once you decide to search out the work from home opportunities, and once you do, your search will become much easier.

First of all, many times a persons best work from home opportunities may be close to his home. Look around your current workplace and see and think which jobs could be done at home. Are there jobs that could be done at home that dont need to be done in an office? Are there things in your workplace that arent getting done that you could do at home? These kinds of things would be great points to sell to your boss, should you decide that there might be enough work that you could do at home. One of the best things that people can do with any kind of plan is to write it down! When you go to approach your boss about the work at home opportunities that you are interested in, having a written plan will ensure that you touch on all of your key points, and the boss will see that you are serious about your proposals.

There are two giant problems that everyone faces with work from home opportunities, and that is that there is a lot of competition and the Internet is just loaded with scams and fake opportunities that leave many people broke. The fact that almost anyone would work from home if they could makes it difficult to find companies that arent swamped with interested job candidates. Call centers are becoming more and more popular places for work from home opportunities, and although they are needing more and more people to work, there are more and more people putting in inquiries there, too.

The fact that the Internet is full of scams is a sad one, however you can protect yourself by finding the reliable, legitimate employers. Look for sites that are members of the Better Business Bureau. Check their feedback and their online employee testimonials, too. There are many sites, such as MSN, Yahoo, or other news sites that frequently have articles that reference some of the best and legitimate work from home opportunities, so those are usually a safe place to go searching for the big chances to work from home. Be cautious of websites that promise zillions of dollars for doing nothing at all; the scams on the Internet prey on desperate people who are willing to try anything to get some money to pay their bills: sad, but true.

However, there are still many legitimate websites that can change your life in one minute, and if you know how to look for the sites for work from home opportunities, you too can be successful and not have to work outside of your home again!
